Listening to Phil Cruz's Music is a trip down Abbey Road or even to Woodstock. Born decades past his favorite era, Phil's music embodies the soulful, creative guitar solos of days gone by. With a new album in the works, the push for his characteristic hard, driving sound and head turning solos is woven through each song. It's a bit like Pink Floyd mixed with a case of energy drinks.

Passions drive Phil Cruz, his music, his collaborations, and his life. From the age of 11 until now, at 16, and with the help of his songwriting partner and brother, PJ Cruz, he has written over a dozen songs recorded a demo, two singles, and a title song for a web series. With each successive work, you can hear the evolution of his signature blend of rock, blues, and alternative sound.

"How can such a big sound come out of such a little guy?" He may not be little anymore, but Phil lives life big and loud. As a front man, lead singer, and lead guitarist, Phil forces you to take notice. Each concert is a true celebration of sound and energy.

Influenced by nearly every genre, and taught by the incredible Eric Calderone, Phil's talents include vocals, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, and cello. With ease, he adapts from a soft, buttery acoustic sound to a "Hold on to something" hard rock performance.

Recently endorsed by Dean Guitars and grand prize winners of Stevo's Battle of the Bands at Quaker Steak and Lube, performing artists and brand ambassadors at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa, Phil and his band are ready for the next step. Ready for notice. Ready for everything!
